During My Early Days In Ministry I Borrowed Money From The Richest Member In Our Church, One Day He Came And Told Me This Shocking Thing – Pastor Korede Komaiya Reveals

Recently, during the minister’s conference organised by his church, he revealed what happened to him during the early days of his ministry, after he borrowed money from the richest man in the church to settle some of the church’s expenses.

He narrated that during that period, they had just a few adults and children, and the whole church was scanty. There was a man in the church who had a lot of money. According to the pastor, today, they have a lot of people like that man in their church. In fact, he declared that the money the man had then cannot be compared to what they have today.

Pastor Komaiya said that he would call the man to lend him some money for fuel and other things to run the church, and after they collect the offerings after meetings, he would pay the man back the money he borrowed. He said he had to sell his wedding ring, as well as a lot of his properties just to survive and take care of the church in those early days.

“I called him and said please can you give me 25,000 to buy diesel and other things. He gave me and refused to collect it back and I said this man has understanding. I didn’t know I was finishing myself gradually,” the man of God said. “I called him again and asked for 120,000, which he sincerely gave. By then, my foolishness had increased.”

He revealed that later on that this man came to him to tell him that he was leaving the church with his family as their relationship was not working. According to the pastor, this man advised him to stop using AC and generators to run the church. The man told him to open the windows and allow the people to just clap their hands because what he was teaching was not working.
