It was an emotional moment for the family of one of the kidnapped students of the Greenfield University, Kaduna, who has now been freed made to reunite with his family.
About 23 students of the Greenfield University in Kaduna State were reportedly kidnapped last month, April 20, 2021. Meanwhile, 5 of the kidnapped students have been reportedly killed by the kidnappers as the Kaduna State Government refused to negotiate with the kidnappers.
The kidnappers are reportedly demanding for the sum of one hundred million naira (N100,000,000) as ransom before they could release the kidnapped students.
However, one of the 17 students that are believed to be at the mercy of the kidnappers has now regained his freedom and reunited with his family.
In the video of the moment the family of the boy received him as shared by the former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode, the mother of the boy was seen clinging to him and shedding tears of joy, while other relatives could be heard thanking Jesus.
While thanking God for the boy’s newly regained freedom, Femi Fani Kayode prayed that other 16 students still with the kidnappers will be released as well.
