Evang. Mike Bamiloye Reveals Mystery Why The Raging Storm Could Not Wake Jesus Up Until He Was Tapped By His Disciples

Popular Gospel Actor and Evangelist, Mike Bamiloye, in a recent post on Facebook talked about the fact that ‘Your Storms May Not Wake Up Jesus.’ He read the book of Matthew 8:23-25 which says, “Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him, asying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”

“How come the violent sea storm and the raging sound of the wave with the rocking boat could not wake Him up, but an ordinary tapping of Him by one of the disciples now woke Him up?” he asked and explained that at that moment, the storms and other issues of life cannot wake him up, so it is important that the disciples show their faith in him and wake him up. They shouldn’t assume that He knows their problem.

According to the cleric, one lesson to learn is that though the deadly storms could not wake him up; the raging wave could not wake him up; the rocking boat could not wake him up, and He did not wake up until his disciples came to wake Him up and the moment He woke up, He arose to His duties straightaway: He rebuked the storms and there was calmness.

He said that your problems may not wake Him up; your deadly debt and destructive infirmities and sickness may not wake Him up; Your crumbling business and dying ministries may not wake him up; Your rocking marriage and sinking home may not wake him up until you learn to wake him up yourself. “Don’t always assume He knows your problems until you tell Him yourself.
