The God of the universe spared a Virginia sea captain from certain death when he became hopelessly lost at sea.

For over 24 years, Captain Johnny Savage has been telling the story of his terrifying experience of being lost at sea on a fishing trip. His latest book, Lost in the Stream: The Miraculous Story of Two Fishermen Lost at Sea, tells this horrifying tale.

Savage, a first mate at the time and 27 years old, and Captain Eric Bingham, a veteran of many offshore fishing expeditions, set sail aboard the Anhinga, a 56-foot sports fishing boat, from Key West, Florida, to Cancun, Mexico. The two fisherman didn’t bother to install a life raft or emergency beacon in the boat’s cabin.

At least four individuals have reportedly decided against suicide as a result of reading Savage’s latest work, as reported by CBN News.
