The abundant varieties of food in Africa makes it one special and beautiful continent in the world. In Nigeria, they are lots of locally made snags one can use to replace baked cakes and pastries.
Some of these local snags includes the popular Barbara nut cake mostly referred to as “Okpa.” Other locally made cakes are; “bean cake, white corn flour, amongst many others.
In an attempt to stay natural and real, Deborah Paul Enenche (daughter of Pastor Paul Enenche, General overseer of Dunamis international gospel centre) have shown to the world the value of the African snags when she posted a picture of herself buying Barbara nut cake and groundnuts.
However, her decision to feast on the locally made cake got a lot people wandering (considering her father’s wealth.) Nevertheless, many applauded her decision and wish her well with her “meal.”
Below, are some of the reactions captured from Facebook.
