We think we know a lot about this great man of God who has been an enormous blessing on our generation and previous generations before. Daddy became the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God after at his appointment by the founder of the Church Pa Josiah. Daddy Enoch Adeboye upon giving his life to christ was made Pa Josiah’s interpreter as Pa Josiah could only preach in Yoruba Language.

This is to mark daddy’s seventy nineth (79) birthday today. Daddy Adeboye. Daddy was born on the 2nd day of march, 1942. Very sure that 79 years ago from today, the world didn’t realise what a great man it has been blessed with because Daddy was born into the family of a peasant farmer who already had six children. However, he began his education in ilesha grammar school, ilesha, Osun State.

He was very determined that he ended up becoming the first graduate in his family. He studied mathematics and ended up as a professor of mathematics at the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

Daddy G. O was also a lover of sport as he participated in Boxing during his young age. The pictures of his participation can be seen in the open heaven centre at the Redemption camp in Nigeria.

The open heaven centre was pastor’s first house in the Redemption camp ground before the family expanded and he moved out. Daddy’s bedroom and prayer room in the house has been however, converted into a prayer room where people come to tender their problems to God and testimonies and miracles have been immeasurable.

Pastor Adeboye is an excellent husband and father. He has been married to his beautiful wife since 1967. He married her at the age of 25. They are blessed with four children. Daddy is an advocate of love and PDA as we can see at different occasions where he kissed his wife in public.
