Pastor Abel Damina, the Head of Power City International who is well known for his scriptural teachings & corrections on some misconceptions about the body of Christ said God can’t do everything. This he said in his recent teaching at his church as disclosed on YouTube.
The pastor started by establishing some facts to backup his statement. He cited the Book of Luke 9:51-56 where God wanted to pass through Samaria to Jerusalem. But the people of Samaria said over their dead body will their land be used as a passage. The Israelites were angered and opted to go after Samaria. The Lord warned them not to but they rerouted God’s decision.
The pastor noted from the story that God didn’t permit them to go for destruction because He came to save souls and not destroy them. At this point, Samaria was victorious. God allows you to speak, then He puts it in action.
Pastor Abel Damina: “God not being able to do everything can be seen when it comes to resolving man’s will. God will always withdraw because of His love for mankind is great. He gives man the choice to make their decision. Not that He doesn’t have the power, but that’s just His nature.
“Remember how God told Adam not to eat of the fruit. Any day he eats of the fruit, he will die. What did Adam do? Adam chose to do his own will. It is God’s sovereignty to respect man’s decisions. God does not react, He pro-acts. Before time, He will tell you to do this and do that, if you do this, this is what will happen. He will allow you make your choice. You see now that it is not everything He can do”.
