God Does Not Punish You For Commiting Sin – Pastor Abel Damina Reveals Why

Senior Pastor of Power City International, Dr. Abel Damina while preaching in a video on his verified Facebook handle some hours ago said people should not think God is the one punishing them whenever they suffer the consequences of their sins.

According to him, God is not evil and when a man rejects the offer of God, there is a natural repercussion for that. The outcome of that disobedience is vengeance and is not an act of God.

According to the Cleric from the video, “The vengeance on those who do not know God is man-made. God does not have vengeance. In another context, it is called the wrath of God and is still man-made because God has no wrath. When you disobey God, He withdraws His presence from you. The resultant effect of that withdrawal is what men call wrath or vengeance of God”.

Speaking further, the Cleric said it is the man that defines the outcome of his action and not God. “God is not evil and does not tempt with evil. When men reject God, then they should be responsible for their choices”, Dr. Damina said.
