While preaching to his church members, the Founder and Lead Pastor of David Christian Centre, Lagos, Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo said that God does not want you to hustle because he will bless you while you are resting.
Three minutes into the video he said, “God does not want you to hustle. He didn’t create you for a hustle life. It is anti scripture and anti covenant to be a hustler; he wants you to rest so he can bless you”.
To back up his points further, he referenced the Book of Psalms chapter 127 verse 2 which says, “It is vain for you to rise early, to retire late, to eat the bread of anxious labours – for He gives blessings to His beloved even in his sleep” (Amplified Version).
