We all seek God’s grace in our lives, it is this grace that can sustain us throughout the days of our lives on this terrestrial planet, without the grace of God, we can’t achieve anything in life, therefore, as we all earnestly seek for God’s grace, we must bear it in minds that, the grace can only be upon our lives when we abide by the rules of grace.
What are the rules of grace? Rules of grace are the laid down God’s criteria for obtaining His blessings. First and formost, number one rule of grace is to seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness. When one seeks kingdom of God and His righteousness, all other things, including grace will be added unto one. How can one seek for the kingdom of God and His righteousness? One can achieve this by, giving one’s life to God, accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, one is departed from all unrighteousness, that is, one will jettison sinful life, and turn a new leaf. One will become a new life in Christ, all odd sins, will pass away, behold, everything will become new. Then, the grace of God will be able to abide with such one.
When one is freed from sin, one’s prayers will not have any delay, therefore, God wants us to be prayerful and not to be faint. A prayerful life is another criteria for God’s grace to abide with one. The word of God says, we should ask, seek and knock, ( Matthew 7 : 7). Anyone that follows this principle, will not be denied of God’s grace.
Another criteria for receiving the grace of God is studying the word of God, mind you, the word of God is powerful and mighty, when you abide by what you read, God’s grace will encompass you the more.
