These are just a few citations of what fasting and prayer does in the lives of these men. There are many more miracles they see, some of which we do not know because they won’t tell. Truly when Jesus said “greater signs than these shall ye do”, he was saying the truth. Nothing is impossible with God. The power that made the heavens and the earth out of nothing, is able to do greater things even now. We only need to tap into this power.
It is not only the great pastors or annointed men of God that can manifest in this phase of power, even you and I can. But our number 1 hindrance is our flesh. The Bible says that the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. If you can humble yourself, and pray and seek God’s face, he will hear from heaven. If you can sacrifice your food, and pray with an empty stomach, your prayer will travel faster and God will answer speedily. If you can deprive your flesh of it’s pleasures, God will not deprive you of his power and blessings. There is power in bodily sacrifice. If we can discipline this temple, God will abide in us in a way we never imagined possible.
Fasting and praying is the greatest display of humility before God. Start it today and you will surely see yourself on another level with God.
