Hilarious! “If You Put Me On Football Field To Play, Get This On Standby As well” – Pastor David Ibiyeomie Tells Members

The presiding pastor of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie has charged the members of the church and Christians at large to plan their lives before it is too late.

The pastor while preaching on the topic: “PLAN TO SUCCEED” in the first service of the church on Thursday said a plan is a written list of arranged actions that one wants to achieve. He also said “planning is bringing the future to the present so that you can do something about it”.

“You can’t accomplish any project without planning”. He said planning is knowing what should be done, why it should be done, when it should be done, who should do it, and how it should be done.

He read from the book of Proverbs 6:6-8, “Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. NIV

He told the members of the church that they know his true age which is 59 and said they should imagine him having a dream of becoming a footballer. He said, “no amount of prayer can make me become a good footballer at this age, if you put me on the field to play, just make sure you put an ambulance beside. How can you put me with young boys to play, by the time they dribble and make you run up and down, in the next 10 minutes, they will call for an ambulance.

He then told them that there is time for everything and so they should plan their lives. He said, “even if you reduce your age, don’t you know your true age, will you lie to others and still lie to yourself. How can you be doing boyoyo at 45 years? You should sit down and think over your life.

He said those who failed to plan their lives today will find themselves blaming the government, uncles, and brothers tomorrow. He charged them to stop using prayers to cover planning and not to use planning to cover prayers.

He then gave them three tools for planning which are reasoning, planning with time, and working with information.
