General Overseer of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye, revealed in one of his recent post, how a gospel singer fell from the grace of God after accepting a five million naira record label deal.
According to what Mike Bamiloye posted on his official Facebook page, he charge Christians to be discerning in terms of promotion because some prestigious offer are like over seized armour to their spiritual life. That means that just like the way David in the bible couldn’t go to fight Goliath with Saul’s armour so as some christian can’t progress spiritually with some kind of job offers.
He then narrated how a gospel singer who suppose to be great revivalist for the expansion of God’s kingdom was drafted out from the plan of God because of the wrong path she took. The lady accepted a Five Million Naira record deal and left her calling unknowingly to her.
Although, she got the fame after a short while of signing up to be music star under a label but the effect was that she was no longer in God’s program because the grace to minister gospel songs was gone.
Finally, he advised christians that whatsoever privilege they have to stand before kings and royalties in the course of their business and career, they should be careful to trend softly in humility.
