Pastor Isaiah Wealth spoke about the benefit of worship during a recent conference with his members. He read the book of Luke 4:6 and revealed that even the devil knew the benefit of worship when he asked Jesus to bow down and worship him. The devil had power and glory and he was ready to give Jesus if he bowed down and worshipped him.
According to the man of God, the devil knows worship more than we Christians which is why he promised power and glory. So when a person worships God, he will get power and glory. It is an exchange. He said that if someone asks you to sleep with him so that you will be given a new job, it is dangerous because you are dealing with glory and power.
He revealed that he was in his office one day and a lady walked in and told him that she does not want to spoil his marriage but he should just sleep with her. He said that she was gumming herself to the wall and they were the only two people in the office. He called a certain Precious to come and meet him in his office. While the lady was still misbehaving, Precious walked in. That was his answer. Though he knew what she wanted, she confessed that she did not plan to spoil his marriage but just to treat him well and make him feel nice. He said that he went home that night and saw her in his dream saying that she wants to destroy him.
Finally, he advised them not to think it is fun because they could lose their power and glory if they indulge in such evil acts. He said that if you fall into that trap, you could miss your crown and glory.
