How Damilola And Joshua Mike-Bamiloye Started “Disturbing” Mount Zion And The Gospel Movie Ministry in Nigeria
The Gospel Movie industry or Ministry as you can relate with it started with the likes of Bro Mike as they call him then and his beautiful wife Gloria Bamiloye who are the founders of Mount Zion Movie Ministries in the late 80’s, at the ancient city of Ibadan, Nigeria.
Mike Bamiloye started the ministry their much acclaimed debut movie titled Agbara Nla after he discovered alot of movies that people were watching then is not only polluting their minds but also appreciating and giving popularity to the kingdom of darkness rather than the kingdom of God or preaching the Gospel of Christ.
Over the years mount Zion movies as spread like wildfire across the nation and some part of Africa, drawing people who believe in Christ to watch and also to those who do not know much about Jesus Christ accepted Christ as their Lord and saviour after watching one of their movies.
Even I personally watch mount Zion movies while growing up.
Now this is where I’m going………….I personally noticed that along the line we lose interest in watching their movies and anything Christian Movies because of their lack of professionalism, lack of good creative stories and also lack of good actors to interpret roles well sometimes. Don’t let us even talk about other gospel drama Ministries then.. mehn they are not doing well at all.. God forgive me but everything about their story is centered around battles and battles. Sho gun laye ni (meaning.. is this world a world of battle alone).
Ok! Let’s skip to the good part. what’s the essence of this piece? Now follow me. Me as a person and I believe every other people as well can relate, the mount Zion came back to life (meaning in a new dimension by drawing more younger people to watch them) when the two super talented sons of Mike Bamiloye, Damilola and Joshua Mike-Bamiloye was fully involved in the ministry. They started disturbing the ministry by implementing new ideas and strategies.
These guys really changed the game from Abbatoir, Gbemi, The train and many Others. Even though there are still alot of things to improve on but trust me when I tell you that Mount Zion Movies as really attracting alot of viewers through their creative ideas in cinematography, casting and script writing.
Are they not disturbing the kingdom of darkness like this? 😀😀😁😁. Yea. I got you! 😆😆
