“How I Drank Garri & Slept On The Floor For 1 Year” – Rev. Uma Ukpai shares touching story

The Founder of Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association (UUEA), Reverend Dr Uma Ukpai has narrated a short story on how one of his Uncles treated him years ago.

While sharing this story, he cited the Book of Numbers 23:21 where God has promised not to leave His children or forsake them. He shared this story to show to everyone that he is a living example of God’s presence. The whole world might be against you but God cannot.

Rev. Dr Uma Ukpai from 2 minutes into the video: “When my Uncle abandoned me and kicked me out of his house, I enjoyed God’s divine presence. Brethren, I slept on the floor for one year. I also drank Garri for one year and I said to myself, Uma one day you will be somebody.

“Today the story is different. When people reject you, don’t reject yourself. It is not where you are that matters but your own opinion of where you are that matters. If anyone calls you an Idiot, why get angry, is that your name?”
