PRAYER POINTS: How Praying With SALT Broke a Curse of Many Years

I am certain that you have been reading postings on how significant praying with salt is, and how praying with salt could bring good luck to you and your family. I think that you have been reading these posts. Some people may tell you that if you pray while sprinkling salt along the perimeter of your wall, your prayers will be answered more quickly. Do you still have some reservations about what these other folks have posted? 

While I was driving, I was listening to a sermon by Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. The sermon was titled “Breaking Generational Curses,” and its main focus was on the topic. After that, he continued to share his wisdom on praying with salt while supporting his lessons with references to the Bible (as usual).

First of all, he made mention of how Joshua placed a curse on the inhabitants of Jericho and the land became fruitless, also, the water was naught for many years.

And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.

Joshua:6:26

Luckily for the Children of Jericho, they Prophet of God, Elisha on his way back after he had received the Mantle from Elijah and how he parted the waters. So they ran to meet him.

And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.

2 Kings:2:15

And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord seeth: but the water is naught, and the ground barren.

2 Kings:2:19

And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him.

2 Kings:2:20

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.

2 Kings:2:21

So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake.

2 Kings:2:22

Till date, barrenness was eliminated from the land.

Salt is very important, that’s why the Bible says we are the salt of the earth

You could also pray with other things like handkerchief, olive oil, garlic, sand, water, etc. with Faith according to the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT…

May God break away every generational curses from your lives in Jesus’ Name. Amen
