HOW THE UGLY MAN ENDED UP WITH THE BEAUTIFUL PRINCESS

I watched a motivational talk a while back and the the speaker was so captivating and hilarious. So hilarious, he poked fun at himself. I knew he was masterful because in some models of public speaking, a dose of self-deprecation has been seen to help the audience relax and absorb the message more easily.

One of the things he said was that on his wedding day, everyone kept looking at him and his wife and they were asking how on earth could he have gotten someone that beautiful? He even claimed that his family members were asking the same question.
He was implying that in comparison to his wife, he was ugly and undeserving- at least based on their looks and external pulchritude.

You may have been to weddings before where you asked yourself the same question😂

Goodness! See how stunningly beautiful the bride is and see the guy she married😳 Okay o!!! It is well!

Of course, we’re mature enough to realize that while good looks can be an advantage in some contexts, good looks aren’t even close to the most important thing on earth. The greatest demands of life far exceed the benefits which good looks alone can provide.

However, I want to use this scenario as a metaphor.

HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?
How do people who are seemingly disadvantaged and disqualified end up attaining heights that others who are better resourced fail to attain?

There are a variety of factors but here’s a major one: The people who end up with the best aren’t always the best but they often find out THE BEST WAY to COMMUNICATE the best of what they have to the people who’re able to reward them with the greatest returns.
