“How to Know God Personally”- Apostle Joshua Selman Reveals

Founder of Eternity Network International (ENI), Apostle Joshua Selman has revealed how one can know God personally.

He wrote,

“Knowing God personally is one of the greatest thing, that can ever happen to a believer. Knowing God is a great encounter that have to be continual. Many people claim to know God but I want to tell you today, no one can know God, the only thing is to be knowing God.

How can we Know God Personally:

1. STUDY THE WORD OF GOD: 

The bible says in 2Timothy 2:15 Study to show yourself approved unto God, as a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. When you study the word of God to a particular stage, you begin to understand mysteries and you discover you are no more a baby in Christ. The only thing that can make a Christian stagnant, is sin and when u study the word of God you get to know that sin is a poison. The psalmist said, your word I keep in my heart, so that I won’t sin against you.

2. LET THE WORD OF GOD MIXED WITH FAITH IN YOU:

Application of the word of God brings transformation in the life of believers. The word of God will be Inactive five without faith. No wonder James said work without faith is death.

3. COMMUNE WITH GOD DAILY:

Seek God for yourself, you cannot represents God based on someone’s encounter.

It is very costly to represent a God you have not seen. Anointing can be tapped but encounters cannot be tapped. The seven sons of Sceva tried casting out demons based on the Jesus Paul preached and encountered, the demons messed up their life.

You need to know God for yourself, Samson failed his generation not necessarily because he met Delilah but because there wasn’t a strong encounter, between him and the God that met his parent. He just felt the spirit of God moving him.

Every man that has become a mighty vessels in the hand of God has a track record of Encounter. Christianity has gone beyond the God we were told about, it is now the God you know yourself.
