Apostle Arome Osayi, one of the powerful men of God in this generation is the founder of Remnant Christian Network which is located in Makurdi, Benue State. The man of God teaches God’s word with understanding and power, focusing mostly on establishing God’s Kingdom on earth and overcoming sin.
In one of his sermons, he reveals how to overcome the lusts of the flesh to live a life pleasing unto God.
“When you begin to do Spirit things, your consciousness is shifted and then different set of lusts begin to build and then suddenly, you begin to lost after God, after Heaven, after the things of God. That desire begins to bond because your Spirit life has switched on. Then a new world, a new realm, a new set of possibilities opens that is when you will discover that you can mount up, you can actually fly. That end you saw in the flesh, that your termination of appointment was an end, when you switch and you see a different set of possibilities and then your visions will be open and then you find out that that end was a blessing so that you can tune to Spirit life. That is when the angels come and say, ‘That art blessed and highly favoured’ because the distraction that held you down has been taken away.”
“In the book of Colossians 3, it says there is something you must do deliberately. Whenever lust begins to come and the desire for something that is not consistent with the desires of God. He said know that is time for you to do things that the Holy Ghost likes. Begin to pray, begin to fast, shut down your eating. Only the Holy Ghost can mortify, can paralyze the works of the flesh. The life of the Christian by reason of the things he needs to do as recommended by the Apostles, first of all, is a life that is dedicated to prayer all through.”
