How we destroy our marital home unknowingly – Rev Funke-Felix Adejumo

Marriage is school that continuous learning is paramount. In this series, the clergy gave few points that husbands and wives do overlook, hence, rendering the home a war zone. Before I go further, I want to introduce the person of Reverend Funke Felix- Adejumo: she is wife to Bishop Felix ( that is,the Senior Pastor and founder of Agape Christian Ministries Inc). They are blessed in with four biological children. She is a relationship expert, marriage counselor, a mother, an award winner and an author. The write up below is a transcript of her message:

Many of you, even though your husband’s are physically alive, some of you have killed them with the way you speak to them. You disrespect your husband in such a way that the man has forgotten his first name.

You speak to him anyhow due to the fact you think, you are a bit better off than him. Please do not have African and American marriage, have biblical marriage.

Honour your husband.. He may be as short as a bottle, you noticed him like that earlier than you married him. Do not marry a man you can no longer respect. The biggest need of a man is not sex, if he is not born again, he can get it from any idiot. The best want of a man is not food, he can get it from any restaurant. One of the greatest need of a man is RESPECT, mainly public respect. Respect your husband and talk kindly to him.

Treat your husband with dignity. Can you make your marriage be exciting?

Can you give up disgracing him in the presence of the children?

Can you stop repeating the errors that your mother made?

If you deal with your husband like a king, he will deal with you like a queen.

There is no man that you will honour that will no longer honour you..

The husband should start treating their wives the way the Bible encourages us to treats our wives.

If your Christianity does no longer work at home, don’t export it.

You are so misplaced in the work of the ministry, so lost in your business that you no longer admire her new hair?

Lost in their businesses, they do alot of things however they are failure in their marriages.
