How we Met: Couple Shared Their Story on How They Met At a Bus-stop

My Story: How I Met My Wife At a Bus-stop

HIS STORY

I met Oluwabukola for the first time in 2011. We were in the Uni at the time, although I can’t quite recall precisely, but she was a coursemate, a friend to my best friend, however we ain’t level mates; I was her senior 😃.

I did not think much of our meeting asides ‘oh she’s beautiful, brilliant and churchy (saw the hands of God in her) with some lovely Yoruba’s suku hair do’😘, albeit I totally long for a way to initiate a conversation, even tho my friend seemed reluctant to trust that I won’t hurt her.😭

The next time we bumped into each other was during my final clearance in 2015. I had travelled very early from Kabba through Ikare to Akungba Akoko. Unknowingly to both of us, we were in the same bus from Ikare to Akungba.

I alighted at Adefarati Bus Stop and just a turn away from the bus there she was also alighting (for she stays not too far away from there.)

I said yes: I Never knew he will come back for me - Read our love story

Wow! what an avenue we greeted and having known her from the department though she doesn’t know me I called her by her name, helped her lifted some of her luggage 💪🏻, we exchanged numbers and started chatting and that’s how our friendship started.🏄🏽

We decided to take our friendship to the next level ‘relationship’ towards the ending of the year ’15. We had our Introduction in Dec ‘8th 2018 and I proposed (mostly for formality though ‘cos we already knew we were getting married even before then and to present her my gorgeous Emerald ring😇!.

Oluwabukola is definitely my soulmate, seriously, I’m not being cheeky, I can be a lot of work to deal with like to deal with (especially at that point in time when we met) honestly but she can handle me and gets me on so many different levels! We have had and will still have our quarrel moments but that just spices up our relationship😉.

She found a post from spring of may answered on my blog sometime in ‘2015 and the question was ‘If you could make one person fall in love with you who would it be?’ and she wrote my name. I honestly don’t know why she did ‘cos we weren’t yet close friends at the time. I guess it’s a sign that she was mine all along and we just had to wait for God’s timing.

My Story: How I Met My Husband At a Bus-stop

HER STORY

Just like he said, I met Damilola during his final clearance. Yeah, he called out that very morning, got himself introduced but I was really in a hurry but I wasn’t in paying attention to him.

We later met at the faculty and I thought that was the last I’d see of him after his clearance. We had a really nice conversation so we exchanged contact details. I discovered that I always enjoyed chatting with him and before I knew it, we became good friends. It was the start of a glorious friendship I must say.

After a couple of years, we divinely decided to take our friendship to the next level and I’ve had no regrets ever since.🥰

Man who was born a Christian Converted to Islam, but Then He Had a Supernatural Encounter With Jesus In A Dream and He did this

We had our Introduction sometime in December 2018 and Most people usually start with the proposal first but he is a very weird guy and I think that’s part of why I love him. He does the strangest things.

Everytime I look at Dammy I can see how much I’ve been blessed. He completes me in ways I cannot explain. Mehn… He’s the man for me. I don’t know where he was hiding all those years but all I can say is that God’s time is the best.
