How will you pay back borrowed money if you continue to steal – Frank Edwards

World renowned gospel musician of Nigerian descent Frank Edwards have joined a whole lot of other Nigerians in reacting to the news going round. 

It will be recalled that just some days back, series of drama occurred when the law makers set up a panel in order to make enquiries about how funds misappropriation. 

Upon various news circulating around about various Nigerian students stranded abroad due to lack of scholarship grants payment, the House of Representative brought the Acting MD of NDDC, Daniel Pondei before a set of panel to answer questions. 

Few minutes into the investigations and questions, drama started after the acting MD fainted before the panel and people were seen on camera rushing to revive him. 

While a lot of people did not believe the actions of the MD stating that it was staged, others believed that it was an agenda to stop him from not answering questions on how the funds were spent. 

The next day, it was reported that the Minster in charge of the Ministry of Nigeria Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio announced that contracts concerning the various policies in the Niger Delta were awarded to some lawmakers. 

This issue generated a widespread controversies across the country with many pointing accusing fingers at various lawmakers. 

Reacting to the news, the Nigerian gospel singer Frank Edwards noted via his Instagram handle how the government continue to borrow money and some politicians will go ahead to steal it. He then asked the vital question saying “if you borrow money and steal it, how are you going to pay it back?”. 

Frank Edwards then went on to say they continue to accumulate debts for generation they did nothing for. He wrote “JUST thinking . . THE GOVERNMENT WILL BORROW MONEY SOME POLITICIANS WILL STEAL IT. If you borrow money and steal it HOW ON EARTH ARE YOU GONNA PAY BACK ?!!!!!!!!!!!!! Accumulating debts for a generation you did nothing for”

Reacting to the point raised by the revered man of God and singer, some Nigeria noted how displeased they are. Here are some reactions.
