How You Can Deny Yourself Of God’s Promises – Pastor Adeboye

There are a lot of promises bestowed to us from God but it is quite unfortunate that we are denying ourselves of these promises because of impatience. Pastor E.A Adeboye spoke at RCCG Online Sunday Service and told his members that between God’s promises and its manifestation, there could be a gap. That is why we have seed, time, and harvest according to some Biblical scholars. There will be a time you will sow; there will be a time you will reap and there will also be a time between sowing and reaping.

When God gives you a vision; when God gives you a promise, you have to wait for it (Habakkuk 2:3). Even if it tarries, wait for it because God is going to work His purpose through delay. So children of God, have you received the prophecy from God and you are yet to see the fulfillment, instead, you are seeing drama here and there. I want to assure you that God is working his purpose behind the scene. You will testify. When God makes you a promise, the only one who can make sure that the promise doesn’t come to pass is you. You are the only one who can cause him to change his mind. 1 Samuel 2:30. The only way God can change His mind concerning your life is if you go back into sin. If you are a backslider, please return to the author of salvation. Whatever He promised He will fulfill.

If you are still a sinner, you need to accept God today, so that you can enjoy His promises.
