Fame is one thing that most people love to have. Apart from being respected in the society, it is also associated with success and money and also riches.
Over the past many years, we have had famous people who have lived on this planet and died after being known all over the world.
One person that is known all over the world is Jesus Christ, having lived for more than 2000 year before, his name still exits as if he just died a couple or years back.
There is however one man who tried to challenge Jesus’ fame and even said he was more famous than Jesus Christ. The name of the man is John Lennon of a famous band in the United States called the Beatles.
During an interview he publicly confessed they he was becoming more popular and not even Jesus is popular than him.
Variety of sources have more that once confirmed that Jesus is and was the most famous person that ever walked on earth. I bet we have more other people. The man was so famous and known across the globe.
He argued that most people were more aware of the band than they are even aware of Christ and that even their rock music would overtake Christianity.
What followed was members of the public standing to condemn the man, they started by burning all their albums, radio stations stopped playing their music and demanded an apology.
The statement costed the band and from them they lost alot of people who were their fans. Even years later, John Lennon was murdered on broad daylight by a man who even confesses it was because of his statement.
He died at a young age just at the peak of his music career.
