After Reverend Paul Abam was caught by the villagers, he has finally confessed that he bury charms at people’s homes other to perform fake miracles for them. Reverend Abam will convince people that someone is after their lives. After convincing them, he will proceed to bury charms in their houses, so that he can perform his fake miracle by uprooting the charms he planted.

Reverend Paul Abam has also been making a lot of money by selling fake liberation oil to his victims. According to members of the community, Reverend Paul Abam has his followers who get information for him on how to lure people to his church. Reverend Paul Abam sold his liberation oil for as high as 3,000 naira. Reverend Paul Abam was finally caught as he was burying charms on a factory which belonged to a man in the community. His plan was to convince the man that someone was trying to stop his progress. If he had succeeded in burying those charms, he would have milked the owner of the factory dry.

According to reports, Reverend Paul Abam charges as high as 55,000 from his victims to uproot his fake charms. He allegedly sold his oil to a principal for as high as 800,000 Naira. The villagers decided to parade him round the community so that everyone will see him. As soon as the news broke out, people he had duped in other communities also came out to speak up.
