Apostle Gospel Agochukwu, the founder of Shekinah Arena Gospel Ministries has sent an important message to popular Nigerian figure, Ifedayo Olarinde fondly known as Daddy Freeze. Recall that Apostle Gospel recently posted on his official Facebook page telling Christians to give more than 10% to God because the economy is bad.
However, Apostle’s message didn’t go well with Daddy Freeze who took to his official Facebook page to challenge the preacher to show him a scripture that says Jesus Christ collected tithes in the New Testament. If the apostle can show him, then he (Daddy Freeze) will pay 100% of his income to God. Daddy Freeze, therefore, said that tithing is not a New Testament practice.
However, in a recent post on his official Facebook page, Apostle Gospel warns Daddy Freeze not to insult him. He said, “I can see that that word tithe is really paining you.
In Acts 2, the Bible said that the Apostle gave all so I am even changing my statement now and I’m telling people to give liberally without a figure attached to it. So what do you have to say, is it not the Bible that said that members should bring all. Don’t insult me because if you do, I will Insult the hell out of you.”
He then said that if the Bible was written in this economy, 10% would not be included. Those who still give 10% are Baby Christians. He said that he gives 70% and even gives God all sometimes. He then said that he used it to practice love, and charity as Christ commanded.
