A Nigeria televangelist preacher, Dr Abel Damina, founder and senior pastor of Power City International, has in a video uploaded to his official Facebook account a few minutes ago, said that if God had called him into ministry through a voice or dream or vision, he wouldn’t have answered because of what they did to his parent.
Pastor Damina revealed that he was a pastor’s son, and grew up in a pastor’s house. In fact, since he was in his mother’s womb, he had been a church boy. He said he made up his mind while growing up when he saw the way church people treated his parents and his family very badly, never to go into ministry.
” I developed hatred for ministry, I hated church and I hated everything that resembles ministry.”
Pastor Damina said God knows what is on his mind. That is why he cannot reach out to him in vision and in dreams to do ministry. He said he would not have gone and equally asked God where he was when his parent was maltreated.
He said what God did was that there was no call, no voice, no vision. He said God tricked him.
He lastly said he entered into ministry unknowingly. He said all he wanted to do was to know God and also do business and make money. He said, but while growing in the spirit, he saw Christians struggling, and he started teaching and sharing with them. He said that teaching was what he was doing till today before he later realized he was already in ministry.
