I Have Closed Church Service In 25 Minutes Because Of Discouragement – Pastor David Ibiyeomie

It takes the grace of God for any minister of the gospel to withstand discouragement. Many things could discourage a cleric in the ministry. Ranging from the turn out of people, as expected in a revival service, to the inflow of financial capital to further boost the work of God, a lot of challenges do beset the men of God in the cause of engaging in their divine mandate of the church establishment. In respect of this, Ndepo Tv has shared a message delivered by Pastor David Ibiyeomie on a series of discouragements that some men of God are bound to face in the ministry, and how he had close a particular church service within 25 minutes that the programme had started because of discouragement.

As shared by the cleric, he had reiterated a series of failures that he has had in the past. According to his words, he had encouraged himself amidst the failures experienced. He has staunchly stood and determined that he must succeed in life. As shared by the cleric, one day the ministry under him had the only members that came for service in the church were his wife, himself and some little children. He rounded up the service within twenty-five minutes, with encouragements to the members present that, God would glorify himself.

Another heavy discouragement that the cleric had experienced was when the church prepared 20,000 handbills and other things for publicity in the first programme of the church. They had gone to make 20,000 handbills and the people that showed up for the programme were not up to 5. This was after creating awareness by distributing the 20,000 handbills for the program. He was so discouraged but, he held on to his faith and remain staunchly in his will to succeed.
