Bishop David Oyedepo
The presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church also known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo while speaking in a sermon titled ” engaging the power of self discipline” said that he has never managed a relationship in his life. The Bishop who also harped on the need for youths to get out of unproductive relationships was quoted saying “I have never managed any relationship in my life, you’re not going my direction, God bless you see you later, its time to pray and you’re very upset, see you again, i say Gods plan is where my future lies,..you say no..no, you can think for yourself, you’re a man of yourself, you go away.”
The Bishop who also further said that there was grave danger in associating carelessly with people as he told a story to the congregation of how he once prayed all Night for God to deliver him from men and women who might entrap his life, as he said it was easier for someone to be pulled from the top by someone who was already down.
The Bishop advised the youths to be very careful so as not to let the devil destroy their glorious destinies and quoted from The biblical verse of first Corinthians 15.33 that “evil communication corrupts good manners”.
