Apostle Johnson Suleman has finally reacted to the video of him boasting of buying his third private jet during Covid-19 while praying that pandemic should not end.
In a recent video he made during his ongoing crusade at Oghara, Delta State, the controversial clergy said that at first, he was surprised because he didn’t say that but when the video was shown to him, he then realised that the statement slipped from his mouth.
The popular pastor said that it doesn’t make sense that any pastor would pray for COVID-19 not to end. He pointed out that he was only talking about how COVID-19 helped to unite families, brought many torn relationships together and made many richer.
He insisted that the statement slipped out of his mouth as he couldn’t have prayed for the pandemic to linger. He mentioned kneeling down and asking the Holy Spirit of forgiveness after he saw the video because he was sure the statement was not deliberate.
He however, was stupefied that a fellow pastor could extract the video and posted it just to smite him.
Speaking further, Apostle Suleman said that if his enemies were angry that he bought three private jets, they would simply die because they didn’t broadcast all the good and charitable works he has been doing.
Apostle Suleman went on to list several projects such transformers, schools, prison, federal road, free houses he built and handed over to the government and people.
He blasted his accusers letting them know that they cannot condemn him while refusing to commend his good works. He admitted that he only listen to those who commend him and then reprove him when he was wrong. But as for the bloggers, newspapers and other hungry platforms to want to use him and trend, he described them as rubbish.
Apostle Johnson Suleman made a mistake and I am glad he admitted to it. This shoes he is human and that he is fallible. As for those crying wolf that he bought his third private jet during COVID-19, they should just let the man be. He is saving millions with his gospel message and he who blows the pipe also wipes his nose. He is definitely working hard for his money. Like he said, he didn’t steal any money and should be let alone.
He has done enough for communities around him, his members and other people as well. People should hold their government responsible band stop troubling an innocent pastor that is struggling day and night to propagate the gospel.
