One of the most respectable clergymen, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, founder and senior pastor of the Believers’ Love World Incorporated, disclosed in a video that was released on Facebook about an hour ago, what he did when he was invited to preach in a church where they don’t enter with shoes.
He said he was invited one time to preach somewhere and they were told to pull all their shoes. He said they didn’t enter that church with their shoes and they asked him to come and preach. He said the only reason he went there was to go there and preach.
Pastor Chris disclosed that he does not believe that someone has to pull his shoes because he got into the house of God. He said when he got to the door, some ministers said they wouldn’t pull their shoes. He said “I’m the guest speaker and I’m going to pull my shoes and if you also don’t mind if you are going in, pull your shoes.”
He said that is how he preached without his shoes on. He said the joy of it was that Apostles and some of his prophets gave their lives to Jesus after his preaching.
He said the lesson is that we all have to develop godly character. He explains that godly character is not developed by prayer. He said you make your habit by repetition and your habit will produce your character.
