“I was kidnapped and poisoned, after I drank it something strange happened -Rev. Uma Ukpai

The Head of Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association (UUEA), Reverend Dr. Uma Ukpai has narrated a story on how kidnappers gave him poison to drink in 1976.

The Reverend shared this story to show that once you are genuinely born again, you are an important voice to God, you will not be an ordinary person. As a believer, you are never alone. We learnt from the story that the kidnappers ended up begging for their lives.

“On our way, my wife and I were kidnapped. They took us to their hideout and asked me to bring every money on me and the key to my car. I said to them that the only problem I have is that the man who gave me the key and the money lives in Heaven, I won’t give you a Kobo until I hear from Him.

They got upset and brought a liquid in a cup for me to drink. The liquid was a poison. They told me once I drank from the cup, I will hear God asking me to gave them my money and car.
