The Presiding Pastor of Salvation Ministries, David Ibiyeomie, shared a personal testimony of how he was sick to the point of death, and how he got healing.
The Cleric shared this testimony to his congregation during his sermon titled “Faith: Gateway To Possibilities” at the Salvation Ministries’ first midweek service for the year 2022. He shared this testimony to show that you must take responsibility for your life and that there are times you do not have to wait for anybody to pray for you.
According to the Cleric, there was a time in his life he was sick to the point of death. During that time, it will take him not less than forty-five minutes to walk from one end of the church to the other, with two people at his sides to assist him. One day a Consultant from the church came and examine him. After the examination, the Consultant shook his head. At that point, the Cleric said he understood what the shaking of head meant.
“Prayers were done on my behalf, Reinhard Bonnke of blessed memory laid his hands on me. They are situations when you have to pray for yourself, nobody can eat on your behalf, some responsibility is not transferable”, Pastor Ibiyeomie said.
The Cleric said at a point he told everyone to stop praying, he took his Bible and a book written by Bishop David Oyedepo, titled “Exploit Of Faith”. He then had an encounter with the word of God in Matthew 8:17, which says Jesus took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. At that point, his faith was stirred up and he ordered the people around to bring him food, and that was how he got his healing. “Faith is partnering with the invisible God, for Him to intervene in your affairs. Accept responsibility if you do not want to end up a liability “, Pastor Ibiyeomie concluded.
