“I Wish I was The One Who Sang “WAY MAKER, and Not Sinach”- Wale Adenuga

Wale Adenuga is a popular gospel musician who has sang a lot of hit gospel songs like Today O, You alone are worthy Lord, Lord because of me etc. He recently made a very long post on his Instagram page and it really touched a lot of people who came across it.

He started the post by writing “I wish I sang Way maker instead of Sinach”. Referring to Sinach’s popular hit song “Way maker”. He also wrote “I also wish that I was the one who wrote Imela and not Nathaniel Bassey”. This introductory lines just served as an example for the topic he really wanted to hammer on.

His post was majorly about how we dealt with envy and that was why he made use of those examples. He acknowledged that as humans we are prone to be envious of people who succeed more than us in the same business. However, his post was majorly on how to deal with this envy. He talked about how we can overcome being envious by speaking to God, and speaking kind words to those whose success makes us envious. Check out his post below.
