Pastor E. A. Adeboye says as he emphasizes decision to sit during sermons. He said this at one of RCCG Holyghost service last month.
Let’s face facts: it is more comfortable to sit down than to stand. So I think this sitting down idea might be a very good one. Particularly for someone who is going to be 81 next month.

At 81, I think it is time to hand over the mantle of leadership to a successor, while you rest more. You can still lead as International Head of Church Council, and organize crusades.
Pastor Kumuyi is older than him, still standing for 2 hours messages, preaching 3 messages in a day during conferences, hosting crusades monthly in different states and location and preaching 3 times a week every other week and still jumping around. These men are humans too despite being endued with grace.May God continue to keep them and strengthen them.
Old age is here, sir, daddy sit o, even some that are not up to 70 do not have the grace to stand long. More grace, sir.
Wisdom is profitable to direct. Most time during His earthly ministry, Jesus preached and taught sitting down. Good one sir. The Lord will continue to strengthen and uphold your Daddy.

In John 4:6 when Jesus was wearied of the journey, he sat on the well of Jacob. And this was even in His early thirties, how much more Papa Adeboye that is 81 years old. Sir you are good to sit now and continue your wonderful teaching until your time on this Earth.
These Oracles are consistent Inspiration. At such age Papa Adeboye and Papa Kumuyi are still very very relevant in strength to do the work of the kingdom. It’s amazing and inspiring.
This isn’t massive grace but simply greed in the highest order and it’s not supposed to be the best decision for true mentorship, let him follow the steps of BABA JOSIAH AKINDAYOMI and watch his successor blossom in the role but I know that many people will fault this ideology and it’ll be hypocritical to be condemning BOLA TINUBU that desperately wants powers in his old age.
