Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide spoke at Breaking Generational Curses Service, Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland.
According to Church Gist, he advised that if you commit to serving God, you won’t feel the effect of curses – generational, transgenerational. If you come under the blessings, you will be free from all curses. Obedience of faith to every dictate from the Lord is what sets a man free from curses. “Do you think the devil and his agents want me to be alive?” he asked and said that he is alive and well and for a long time unbreakable because he is under the blessings. You can’t be under the blessings and the curses at the same time.
Speaking further, he advised that you engage this season to celebrate your freedom from the plague of curses. Those who come against you, God goes against them. When God comes against a man who will deliver Him? So the answer is still Matthew 6:33. He said that all the things listed from 21-33 shall be added unto you. Glory not shame. Honour not reproach, abundance does not lack, and want shall be added to you.
According to him, you become ‘uncurable’ as long as you stay under the blessings. Unreserved and delightsome obedience to every command of scriptures puts you permanently under the blessing. He then claimed that serving God and the interest of His Kingdom establishes you under the blessings and curses can’t come.
Finally, he said that all the witches in this world, if they gathered together and start cursing him, they will die one by one. The one who led the first prayer will die, the one who assisted him will die after. “That is also your experience. Coming under the blessing is your stronghold against curses. Come under the blessing. We are here and the prophetic mantles are here,” he said.
