If God Is Everywhere, Why Do Believers Always Do This? -Rev. Fr. Oluoma Asks Important Question

Reverend Fr. Oluoma Chinenye John, a Catholic Priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja in a video few hours ago on his verified Facebook handle, asked why many believers engage on a long distance journey all in the name of miracle crusades or revival events if truly God is everywhere.

He noted that any crusade or event that is stressful to attend should not be initiated by a believer. According to Fr. Oluoma from the video: “Jesus turned water into wine at a marriage in a home. It didn’t happen in the church or a crusade. In fact statistically, 95% of Jesus’ miracles didn’t happen in the Church; they took place in the streets or in the house which shows God is domestic.

“Don’t forget that God is everywhere and He can manifest Himself anywhere. All it takes is Mathew 18, 19 and 20: Whatever two of you shall ask here, it shall be given, and wherever two or more are gathered, my presence is there. So don’t reduce the manifestation of God’s glory to only crusades or revival centres.

“Crusades and revival centres are today’s trends. Because something is working doesn’t make it 100% right. We don’t know what the next generation after us will do. So any crusade that is not comfortable with you, abort it. Don’t go and travel for hours all in the name of miracles. Rediscover your home as a church. Don’t neglect the God in your home and you are looking for Him thousands of Mile away”.
