The Senior Pastor of Eternity Network International, Apostle Joshua Selman while preaching in a video on YouTube a few hours ago said that God does not give good things to those that want, but to those that ask. This is in line with what is written in James 4:2-3. According to this Bible verse, the reason you do not have what you want is that you do not ask God for it.
According to the Cleric from the video, “God loves you enough to respect your will. If you do not ask, God assumes you are aware of your needs but you are not interested. Do you know how many things you would have cheaply received in your life only if you had the grace to ask? God feels insulted when you leave him to ask for help from idols. If God can give unbelievers mercy and rain, then there is nothing He will withhold from His child”.
Speaking further, the cleric said every child of God has the access to come to God and ask anything according to His will. “When you go to God and call God ‘Abba’ which means ‘Father’, you have verbalized your total dependency on Him. Do not go to God as an alternative source, go to God as your only source and He will show up for you”, Apostle Selman said.
