If You Like Abuse Me, It Doesn’t Change Me Because I’m Already Used To It – Bishop David Oyedepo

The General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo spoke to his members about the need to win souls for Christ.

While trying to motivate them, he said that every living Winner owes God one soul a month. “If you like abuse me, it doesn’t change me. I am already used to it,” he said. He said that if he is truly your father, he won’t tell you how much fund is involved in chasing after these people that we minister to. It is not necessary. “What I have, He owns everything,” he said.

He said that if you can’t get one soul then you are a scatterer of the sheep. He said that a scatterer would say that he is not going to church because it is far. “You know there is nowhere to hide. God knows everything about everybody,” he said. If you are saying in your mind that “I am not bringing one soul,” others will add your own to theirs. You will discover there is no gap.

Speaking further, he said that God told him in 1982 that “I have not called you because you are smarter or better than anybody else. I have only given you a privilege. Should you abuse, there are better hundreds at the door.”

Finally, he said that he told them at the Power House meeting that “you are not here because God needs your offering. All that you will earn till you die cannot run this place.” He said that the Ministry had no footing then. Some got angry, it was good for them. They got angry and they saw them no more. That is okay, but God was there and He is still here.
