The Presiding Pastor of Remnant Christian Network, Apostle Arome Osayi in his recent ministration said that you cannot force God to speak to you, because God only does what He wants to do. According to him, even if you embark on three-day dry fasting, it does not change the mind of God in this regard.
According to the Cleric, you might decide that you are praying for three days of dry fasting because you want to hear the voice of God, and you finish your three days without God speaking to you. “It is not God that gave you the three days, you gave yourself. I am not saying three days dry fasting is not a good effort, but God will decide when He will honour your attempt to seek his presence, He will decide when He will show up”.
Speaking further, the Cleric said if you understand this, your disposition would be that of someone that is waiting upon the Lord. “You are waiting upon the Lord because it is only when He wants to speak that He will speak. So when you finish your three days of dry fasting and nothing happens, start another one. Dwell with Him until you hear from Him”, Apostle Osayi said.
