In a recent post, Frank Edwards shares a powerful yet short message on his Facebook page.
He urge Christians especially upcoming creative artistes who are preaching the gospel with their contents not to rush on finding fame for themselves but they should be rooted in Christ first.
He said in his words that if not for Christ he would have missed his calling with the juicy deals he’s been getting from various brands and companies who told him to remove Jesus from his song.
He shared this message on his Social media platform.

If you are not rooted in Christ and you see the kind of offers I’ve seen in this my life you will throw Jesus under the bus.. I’m telling you!! That’s why I say don’t just rush , be rooted in Christ 1st ! It is more important than your music and every other thing! It will show up when temptation comes !

Very important 👌Most of the secular musicians we have started in the church.Most of the because they want to use church to “blow”and when it’s not coming they enter the world because they were not rooted in Christ.Most of them got offers beyond anything they can imagine, they drop Jesus.Foundation is important. Get rooted first so when the flood, wind and storm of temptations come you will be able to stand.
Foundation matters alot, take time to be rooted in Christ, the wise man built his house upon the rock Jesus, de foolish man built his house upon the sand, when the storm came who do you think survived it.
I was thinking about this today.A lot of people don’t know what some of us have rejected to be and remain in the fold of God till date and till death.
That’s why Jesus would work on the our hearts,break us,kill every evil tendencies,until we come to the point of no return,until every atom of flesh dies…..(He sent you because He has dealt with you,you can be trusted man of God🙂)
Paul said we should settle it in our heart if we are for Christ or not …No amount of any material thing should be big enough to alter our stand in Christ .Daniel friends told the King that they are not going to think about their response to him even if God don’t safe them …no retreat no surrender …Jesus all the way till he comes ..
I’m proud of you sir, enjoy more of the life in Christ. There is yet another dimension of His glory you are about to see which your mouth will be too heavy to speak because of the weight of the glory but the brokenness of your heart and the rivers of tears that shall run through your eyes will turn to the fragrance of your worship to God which will bring healing, deliverance and restoration to souls. Hallelujah!

Well said. We have the problem of so many people proclaiming Christianity only with their lips and not heart. Many are not rooted in him, small temptation and offer they fall
