Ikere: When the Evangelist ran out to make a call, I Suspected something was wrong – Hotel Manager.
About a month ago, controversial news said that Ejiogbe, a popular herbalist in Ikere, Ekiti, died too soon while having fun with his female lover, who was an evangelist in the area. The incident was said to have happened at 10:20 p.m. on January 1, 2023.
It was said that Evangelist Rita Ajagunigbala and her lover, Fadayomi Kehinde, an Ifa priest and herbalist known as Ejiogbe, were staying at a guest house in the town when the incident happened.
But while Mr. Peter Adewole, who runs the guest house, was talking, he said he had known the couple for a while because they sometimes came to the hotel.
He said, “They arrived at 10:20 p.m. and stayed in Room No. 7.” But after 30 minutes, when the evangelist ran out to make a call, I thought something was wrong. When she went outside to make a call, the man who brought them in his car came back with some angry boys.
Mr. Adewole said that Ejiogbe was still breathing when the young men got there, and they tried to bring him back to life before taking him to the hospital.
