The General Overseer of Commonwealth Of Zion Assembly (COZA), Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo has warned critics that he is not one of the pastors that anybody can badmouth and get away with it, because he didn’t choose to be called by God, but it’s the Lord Himself who elected him as a man of God and also blessed him.
Pastor Biodun said when he started in ministry he never knew that it is possible for a man of God to be rich, because of the kind of examples that surrounded him. “When I wanted to marry my wife, I told her if she’s going to marry me even though I will be poor and I don’t want pressure but she said yes. I thought I was going to be poor because of the examples of pastors I saw around me,” he said.
The clergyman further implored people to never give up on their calling and he revealed how he almost gave up, when his friends visited him after he became a full time minister. “I can never forget one Christmas when two of my friends came to my Church and pulled me over, they said is this what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. They said I’m no longer fine anymore and I should see what I’ve turned my wife into. If I allowed them to have thwart me that day, I will not have been here today. Allow God to choose your inheritance for you,” Pastor Biodun said.
