In the Waukesha Christmas parade attack that killed 6 and hurt 60, Darrell Brooks was found guilty on all counts

In the Waukesha Christmas parade incident that resulted in six deaths and sixty injuries, Darrell Brooks was convicted guilty on all charges.

Darrell Brooks was found guilty of all charges, including six counts of first-degree intentional murder. He was accused of ramming his SUV into a Wisconsin Christmas parade, killing six people in the process.

Six people were killed and several more were injured when Brooks purposefully drove his red SUV at high speeds into a Christmas parade in Waukesha on November 21, 2021, according to a jury’s verdict on Wednesday.

In addition, Brooks was found guilty of 70 additional crimes, including many instances of putting other people’s lives at risk while brandishing a hazardous object.

Judge Jennifer R. Dorow ordered that the individual in the courtroom be removed after someone inside said, “Burn in Hell, you piece of s—-,” while the verdict on the charges was being read.

After the verdicts were announced, self-represented Brooks wanted the jury to be surveyed about their choice. Brooks said that he did not accept the result when the jury was asked to affirm their choice.

In a tweet on Wednesday, Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul expressed his gratitude to “the many individuals who ensured that he (Brooks) was convicted and will face the consequences for his horrible acts.”

After police were called to a domestic dispute at Brooks’ residence, he left the scene and drove his SUV into the procession. Brooks had a lengthy criminal history before the event.

According to the authorities, Brooks struck many groups of parade participants as well as onlookers without ever pausing to see whether anybody was hurt. A video was also taken during the crime.


Jackson Sparks, age 8, Virginia Sorenson, age 79, Jane Kulich, age 52, Tamara Durand, age 52, and Wilhelm Hospel, age 81, were among those who perished in the accident.

When the car slammed into the parade, Sparks, whose brother was seriously hurt but survived the incident, was marching with the Waukesha Blazers little-league baseball club.

Jackson was “a nice, talented youngster who was a delight to teach,” according to a statement made at the time by Waukesha Blazers President Jeff Rogers and published on the team’s Facebook page.

He was an outstanding utility player for the Blazers Wolfpack. Jackson had an infectious grin and was kind-hearted. He was the team’s underdog who received everyone’s support. It was impossible not to adore him.

Weeks later, first lady Jill Biden paid visits to the families of those injured and killed in the incident after President Joe Biden drew criticism for claiming he had no intention of visiting Waukesha after the killings at the city’s Christmas parade. At Waukesha’s Cutler Park, where a monument had been erected for the victims, the first lady also paid her respects.

During her visit, Biden observed, “This defeat has no sense.” The fact that it occurred during a Christmas parade is extremely unbelievable. Waukesha is mourned by all of America.
