Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide spoke at Covenant Day of Breaking Invisible Barriers, 1st Service, Faith Tabernacle.
According to Church Gist, the cleric revealed that he found some humour in the course of the week that his name is among the top 100 most reputable people on earth. He said that he is not living for nothing. God knows, the devil knows that he is living his life for God. “That is how I live my life. I am telling you the truth,” he said.
He said that he had no time for a honeymoon after marriage. According to him, he is not saying It to them because he is their Pastor but if God orders him to, “Get out of town, your assignment here is over. Come with me to Benin Republic,” he will be gone immediately and they will be seeing him on the screen. He said that he does not need their permission to go because they didn’t send him there in the first place.
Speaking further, he said that he was here in Nigeria when somebody called him from America, and said, “They said, you are the richest Pastor in the world.” He then replied, “they are not lying, but I didn’t hear, and even if they are wrong, that is okay.” “Is there any time in my life that I will start checking those news?” he asked himself and said that what they say against him, he didn’t hear, so they can’t disturb me. “What you say for me, I didn’t hear. It can’t blow my head. I don’t have any problem,” he said.
Finally, he said that “please let God have His place and the only place He will take is the First Place. God is too big for the second place in your life.”
