Doctors told a mom to end her ectopic pregnancy or else she could die. But she trusted God despite the odds, for God spoke to her husband that they would have this child and name him Judah Emmanuel.
God Spoke She Would Have A Son
Sabina Patterson, the mother of twins, longed to have another child in her late 40s. But the doctors discovered that her tubes were damaged and had to be removed. Thus, she needed to undergo surgery. However, a night before she had to be operated on, God spoke to her husband, Jermaine.
The couple prayed at 11:15 pm. Then at midnight, the husband suddenly jumped out of bed. He immediately told Sabina, “God said you’re pregnant. He will give you a son named Judah Emmanuel!”
Ectopic Pregnancy
So, the following day, the couple went to the hospital to confirm if she was really pregnant. The pregnancy test results indeed revealed it was positive. However, doctors determined it was a false pregnancy because the development was found on a fallopian tube and had to remove it as soon as possible.
Despite the bad news, Sabina remained confident in God’s promise. She kept the baby developing on her fallopian tube regardless of people doubting her even thought she was crazy.
“God can use the foolish thing to confine the wise,” she said.
Danger
Sabina went to several doctors for her prenatal care. But she couldn’t find one who would take care of her case. Then at eight weeks, she went to a Christian clinic. Sabina was diagnosed with ectopic pregnancy, and the baby was developing on her left fallopian tube. What’s worse, fibroid tumors filled the uterus that could lead to her and her child’s death. Hence, doctors advised they had to take her baby out to preserve her life.
But Sabina didn’t care what doctors told her and kept the baby. She believed that God would do what He said He would do, and Judah would be born healthy, and she would be okay.
Six months later, God indeed showed His miraculous power.
