“It has Nothing To Do With Religion” – Pastor Adeboye Reacts To The News Of Deborah’s Killing For Blasphemy

The General Superintendent of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye has joined thousands of Nigerians who reacted to the recent killing of Deborah Samuel, a 200 level student of Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto State.

The clergyman said, the death of the female student of Shehu Shagari College of Education has nothing to do with religion.

Pastor Adeboye made this known via online video when he paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, ahead of a proposed crusade in the state.

The clergyman said, he has tried to set the boundaries straight when some people tried to cause confusion between the Christians and Muslims for so-called political movements. He tried to make them understand that when the bandits were shooting at the people in the Train that was heading to Kaduna, they didn’t have special bullets for the Christians and another for the Muslims.

  1. Please let’s ensure to always verify the truth behind all we share.
Pastor Adeboye made this speecha day before the lady in Sokoto was killed.
So he couldn’t have been talking about Deborah and her killers here.

Also, Pastor Adeboye is the General Overseer of the RCCG, not the General Superintendent
