The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, has kicked against the use of worldly methods in appointing leaders in the church.
In a video on his verified Facebook page, the man of God said that the church is not expected to use election to appoint leaders because the early apostles were not appointed through election. He said that the use of elections is a worldly method and politics must not be done in the church.
He also said that people who are living in sin and still claim to be children of God don’t belong to God. He said when the people of the world see a child of God, they will know because children of God are peculiar.
He also said that Christian associations are not expected to appoint leaders through election. He said all these while ministering at the Ministers’ conference.
