A Kaduna-based journalist identified as John Femi Adi, has decided to willingly offer one of his kidneys to the ailing daughter of Nigerian senator, Ike Ekweremadu, Sonia Ekweremadu, as he revealed his reason for making such donation.
Recall that daughter of former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, Sonia Ekweremadu had earlier on, taken to her official Instagram page to appeal for a kidney donor, following her battle with a rare kidney disease.
According to Sonia Ekweremadu, her ailment is the cause of her father’s detention in the UK prison, and although her family members are ready to donate their kidneys, such disease might reoccur in the family because it is genetic.
And so, in what seems to be a recent development, a farmer and journalist, John Femi Adi, has announced that he is ready to donate his kidney for Sonia Ekweremadu.
According to Punchng, John Femi Adi revealed that his decision to make such donation is based on the God’s directive to love one’s neighbor as found in the Holy Bible.
